My experience was enjoyable, especially the breakfast that included lovely thick bacon. I was able to walk to a nearby pub recommended by the staff, which felt welcoming. The staff showed genuine interest in my activities, making my stay more personal and engaging.
The WiFi was not working during my visit, and the room I stayed in had a small TV which felt inadequate for my needs.

close proximity to the railway station, picturesque walk to major attractions, quiet and safe area
Everything in the room screamed neglect!!! From a filthy wardrobe to a rotten window frame, it felt like no one cared. A thorough cleaning would do wonders!!!

Great for families seeking convenience
The breakfast was delicious, beautifully cooked Full English with perfectly poached eggs, and a good selection of cereals and fruit. They recommended a peaceful riverside walk into town, which made the experience much more enjoyable.
It wasn’t affordable, but still reasonable for what we got.

We had a lovely time in a cozy family room and really appreciated the ground-floor access, which made it so convenient! There’s a great little garden by the river and a comfy lounge to unwind in after a day out. The room could use a refresh, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. definitely recommend checking it out! 😊

Comfortable stay with a hearty breakfast
A delightful two-night family stay. The top-floor room delivered a lovely view, while the cozy atmosphere made it feel like home. The veggie breakfast with river views was a highlight. For peace, ensure windows are shut at night. A short, pleasant stroll to the town center made exploring easy.

Charming stay with a delightful breakfast
I had a lovely time at this cozy hotel, which was conveniently located just a short walk from the city center and train station. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring a good variety of options, including a wonderful cooked breakfast with a view of the river. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my experience even better. My room was comfortable and clean, although the bathroom's small tub design was a bit tricky for an easy shower. I would definitely consider returning!

missingWrote a review on 06 Junspacious family roomdecent locationdated decorwifi issue
The family room offers ample space for a one-night stay, with a decent layout close to the river. The property's proximity makes it easy to explore the nearby attractions, just a short walk away.
The decor feels a bit dated, craving a refreshed touch, particularly noticeable in the bathrooms with minor maintenance issues like a door that doesn't quite latch. Some minor tech hiccups included the WiFi that didn’t work for us and a wall-mounted TV on the smaller side for modern standards. The lack of window access in some rooms raises concerns about temperature control during warmer months.
